Ex-Omahan Is Married
Myers-Carr Rite on West Coast
St. Alban's Episcopal Church, Los Angeles, Cal., was the scene of the Saturday wedding of Miss Annabelle Carr, Los Angeles, and James Harlan Myers, former Omahan, now of Los Angeles.
The Rev. John Bryant officiated at the 4 p.m. ceremony before an altar decorated with white and blue flowers and cathedral tapers. A reception was held in the Garden Room of the Hotel Bel Air.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gardner W. Carr, Los Angeles; the bridegroom the son of Dr. and Mrs. Lester E. Myers who attended the ceremony.
White Lace Gown
The bride wore a Cahill original in white Chantilly lace with short puffed sleeves and a V-neckline edged with pleated tulle. A lace tiara held her illusion veil and she carried gardenias and lilies of the valley.
Attendants were Mrs. Kenneth C. Nichols, Los Angeles, matron of honor; Mrs. Benjamin H. Shattuck, Pasadena, Cal.; Mrs. Richard DuVal, Ontario, Cal., and Miss Kathryn Welsh, Brentwood, Cal., bridesmaids.
Attendants wore ballerina-length gowns of sky blue organdy and carried white carnations. Mrs. Myers wore a navy blue lace gown and a corsage of purple and white orchids. Mrs. Carr wore a gray sheer with corsage of pink and white orchids.
Best Man Named
Robert Nuccio, Pasadena, was best man. Ushers were Mr. Nichols, Bernard L. Rogers, Ralph Townsend and Porter W. Jared, all of Los Angeles.
The bride attended Mills College, Oakland, Cal.; the bridegroom, the University of Wyoming and the graduate school of the University of Southern California. He was affiliated with Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity.
The couple will live in Westwood Village, Cal., after a trip to Lake Tahoe, San Francisco and Carmel, Cal.
