Two Aviation Men Selected As Executives

Two aviation men well known in Seattle have been selected for executive positions, the Associated Press reported today.
Robert A. Mensing of Seattle, divisional chief pilot for the Northwest Airlines, was promoted to the superintendency of the company's western division, it was announced at Spokane.
Gardner W. Carr, former vice president of the Boeing Airplane Company, was elected president of the Menasco Manufacturing Company, builder of aviation motors, at Los Angeles.  After leaving the Boeing Company two years ago, Carr served as vice president and general manager of the Glenn L. Martin Company, Baltimore aviation firm.
