    On Tuesday evening, November 25, at 7 o'clock took place the marriage of Miss Carrie May Eddy, daughter of Mrs. R. L. Fenton, to Mr. Burton Kenneth Carr, both of Seattle.  The wedding took place at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. G. McLaren, cousins of the groom.  The ceremony was performed by Rev. M. A. Matthews in the presence of the members of the immediate families of the bride and groom.  The rooms were beautifully decorated in wild huckleberry and salal and a profusion of yellow and white chrysanthemums.  After the ceremony a buffet supper was served.  Mr. and Mrs. Carr left for Victoria, B.C.  The bride's traveling suit was of blue with a velvet hat of the same shade.  They were both students at the University of Washington, Mrs. Carr being a member of the Chi Omega and Mr. Carr of the Sigma Chi Fraternity.

    Death Takes Mrs. William G. McLaren

    Mrs. Nelle S. McLaren, of 1214 Parkside E., wife of William G. McLaren, Seattle attorney, died yesterday at her home.
    Funeral services will be at 1 o'clock tomorrow in the Buttterworth Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Acacia.
    Active in community work, Mrs. McLaren was a board member of the Ruth School for Girls.  She was a former member of the board of directors of the Y. W. C. A. and a former member of the Board of Deaconesses of the First Presbyterian Church.
    Mrs. McLaren also was a member of the Sunset Club.
    Besides her husband, she is survived by three nieces and a nephew.
