    BIGGS - GARDNER

Patterson Presbyterian church was the scene of a pretty wedding Sept. 4, when Lillian Mary Gardner, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Gardner, Rogers Rd., became the bride of Reginald Lewis Biggs, formerly of London, England.  Rev. J. C. Herbison officiated; Miss Pat Boal played wedding music; Mrs. Gilbert W. Gardner, the bride’s sister-in-law, sang.  The church was decorated with palms, ferns and gladioli.  The bride, given away by her father, wore an ivory satin gown with fingertip veil, and carried a cascade of pink roses and white heather in the form of a horseshoe sent from Edinburgh, Scotland.  The bridal attendants, Miss Betty Fisher and Miss Ann Newall, were gowned alike in delphinium blue crepe with matching hats.  They carried colonial bouquets of red roses, delphinium and white heather.  W. Taylor was best man; ushers were Douglas and Gordon Campbell, the bride’s nephews.  At a reception in Malloney’s Art Galleries, the bride’s mother received wearing a black lace dress, matching accessories and corsage of crimson roses.  Assisting was Mrs. W. Taylor wearing lime green crepe dress, black accessories and corsage of pink roses and delphinium.  For the wedding trip to points north, the bride donned a chartreuse crepe dress, navy accessories, stone marten furs and corsage of pink roses.  The couple will live on Juliet Cres., Toronto.
