DEATH TAKES G. GARDNER

George Gardner, a former resident of Copemish died yesterday afternoon at the Manistee County Convalescent hospital, where he had been confined for the past two or three years.  He was 80 years old.
Mr. Gardner, who was born in Michigan on July 24, 1871, has no relatives as survivors except one son-in-law, Ward Kramer of Flint.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow from the Copemish Methodist church with the Rev. John Shoemaker officiating and burial will take place in Cleon cemetery.  The body will remain at Terwilliger funeral home until 1 p.m., when it will be taken to the church.
